Would you like to learn how to make Sushi directly from a Sushi chef in Kanazawa?
Sushi Restaurant Ohshiki, located near the Kanazawa Central Wholesale Market, is endorsed by market workers and wholesale brokers.
The owner, Yoji Kaneda, is such a connoisseur that he personally goes to the market and participates in auctions.
He is so inquisitive about food that he makes all of his own gari (rice balls) and soup stock.
The restaurant attracts many fans from far and wide, as well as locals, who can enjoy authentic sushi made with fresh seafood at a reasonable price. The restaurant offers the seasonal flavors of Kanazawa throughout the seasons.
Rent out an authentic Sushi restaurant, wear a white coat with the name “Ohshiki” engraved on it, and make Sushi at the Sushi counter. Enjoy such a valuable experience.
The experience includes both Nigiri-Sushi and Maki-Sushi challenges.
Of the 8 pieces of Nigiri-Sushi, you will make 4 pieces, half of which you will make yourself, and the rest will be made by the owner.
You will be surprised at the difference in taste from the moment you put it in your mouth.
The Sushi rolls are also carefully explained to you, starting from the direction of the seaweed.
The owner and his wife are both very kind and will respond to your requests in a flexible manner. You can change the contents of the 8 pieces of sushi on the spot, such as if you would like to make a little more yourself, or if you would like more sushi made by the owner.
You can also play “sushi shop” with your family across the counter, which is a fun experience only possible when the restaurant is reserved for private parties.
The garden over the counter of the restaurant is beautiful in every season. Please spend an extraordinary time in such a wonderful at-home space.

* 84,000 yen is up to 2 persons. An additional fee of ¥8,000 is charged for each additional person.
* Sushi lunch is included. Drinks can be ordered at the restaurant which includes alcohol/non-alcohol drinks for an extra charge.
*Children under age 10 cannot be participated because of the difficulty of Nigiri-Sushi.
