Tour Overview

This tour will guide you around the city of Tsurugi, an area surrounding Mt. Haku, known as one of three famous mountains (Mt. Fuji, Mt. Tateyama, Mt. Haku) in Japan. Through this tour, you will experience the rich nature of Mt. Haku, Japanese local life, and the culture of Tsurugi.

The tour starts along the Tedori River (a name also used for a famous sake brewed in this region), and heads towards Watagataki waterfall , an area from where you can enjoy the beautiful view of rice terraces, seasonal flowers, and Tsurugi townscape. On the way to waterfall, we will visit a local Tofu factory and famous restaurant *For your safety, tours may be cancelled due to the weather conditions.

Please bring your own towel, and change of clothes (if required).

*Person below 140cm in height cannot join this tour (bicycle restriction).

9:15-11:30 Cycling along Tedori River and rice field

11:30-12:30 ​Lunch

12:30-15:30 Watagataki Waterfall and back to Tsurugi Station
